Since I can remember Makenna has always had such desire to learn. Lately she has been trying to sound words out, asking what words say and trying to read. For a few weeks she has tried reading her books but has words like "quick and through" and wasn't able to read as much as she wanted to. I asked my sister what was the best kind of books for her to start out on and she ended up giving her a couple packets of books. She couldn't wait for us to get home and read through book 9 just while we were visiting with family. She is growing up so fast and I just am in awe at the little girl she has become.
