Monday I got a call, from the radio station, saying I was chosen as the winner to receive a signed guitar from Tompson Square. I was so shocked because I thought I had only signed up to receive a free lunch. It is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to learn how to play it.

*Coloring Contest*
The teachers worked at McDonalds yesterday to raise money for the school, so the kids had a coloring contest. Makenna came home today with exciting news. She told me that she won out of her class and got a free kids meal. We were so proud of her so we took her to celebrate. She has been doing so good in school and we couldn't be more proud.
*Valentine's Day*
The kids were so excited for Valentine's Day. They both had parties and couldn't wait to hand out their cards. My mom was nice enough to take a couple pictures of Makenna in class. They both couldn't wait to tell me all about their great days when I picked them up. Later that night we headed to my mom's house for dinner. It was a fantastic day.
*Last Basketball Game*
Travis had his last game against Madison. Unfortunately we lost but it was a great game. They worked hard the second half of the game. It's been amazing to watch this team grow with Travis. He is an amazing coach and even better role model for these boys.

*Family Day*
This past weekend we decided to have a family day. We took the kids to get pizza and then to the dinosaur museum. They had a lot of fun things for kids where they could discover dinosaur eggs and decide which type they belonged to. We got to touch a real dinosaur bone and read a lot about them. After that Peyton said he wanted to go to Orange Leaf for dessert. They each got to choose their ice cream and it was an excellent day.

*STOMP*
This past week we had a girl's night and attended STOMP. It was absolutely incredible. They make music with different objects and it was amazing. They started out with brooms and used things such as a sink, trash cans and pans. It was an experience of a lifetime and it was fun seeing it with my family.

*Senior Night*
We drove to Wendell on Thursday to support the girls on their special night. Before the big game against Oakley they took a couple minutes to honor the seniors. It was so good to see them and everyone else we had missed when we moved. The girls had been asking Travis to come to a game for awhile now so they were ecstatic to see him. Makenna and Peyton saw some of their old friends and had a great time.
After the game I got a message from my mom telling me how awful the roads were. We decided to stay in Wendell for a couple hours to let the storm pass. I let work know I wouldn't be in the following day. We spent time with the Dimond's and it was just like old times. Travis was worried about not having information for a sub so we ended up getting home around 3 am. The kids and I stayed home and Travis bravely took on work. It was all worth it to see our old friends from Wendell.
