*Basketball Camp*

Last week Makenna started her basketball camp. Everyday for an hour and fifteen minutes she works on her ball handling with 9 other kids. A few are also from Wendell so we parents take turns taking the girls over to Filer where the camp is located. She has a great coach that has really helped her improve. When I tried to teach her, she would only do it for a few minutes, but Jessica (coach) makes the time fly by playing lots of games with them.  I will be using some of those with the high school girls too. They are learning without even knowing it. Makenna even does some of the ball drills with my high school girls now during our morning sessions. She wants to practice all the time and can't wait to go to camp. We are really excited she likes it and she will be definitely going back next year.
