*Camping with our Ward*

We spent our weekend at Smokey Lodge Camp with our ward.  I took Friday off and we drove a couple hours to the campground.  We had cute little cabins for each family and a lodge for everyone to eat and get together.  When we got there we went with the Dimond's to Alturas Lake for a swim.  The water apparently is from the snow on the mountains and it was freezing!  Travis was brave enough to just jump right in first and the kids didn't take long to follow behind him.  After we swam for a couple hours we headed back to camp to have lunch with the ward.  Not a lot of families came but we still had an incredible time.  We didn't really see Makenna the two days because she was off playing with friends.  Peyton had fun playing in the dirt and with the basketballs.  That night we had a dutch oven dinner and watched skits done by different members of the ward.  It was so much fun and was sad when it was time to clean up and go home.  We decided to swim one more time and ended our trip eating pizza with our friends.
