We had a doctor's appointment today to find out the sex of the baby. Travis was able to get the morning off, so the 3 of us drove to Twin. We were talking in the car about what we wanted and thought it would be. We both were hoping it was a boy, but the thought was so foreign to us. The doctor asked us if we wanted to know the sex, and of course we said yes. She laughed a little and said "good thing you wanted to know, because he sure isn't hiding it very well." He had his cute little legs spread out for all of us to see. We are so excited to have a LITTLE BOY!!!

After the appointment we called our family to tell them the good news. I couldn't wait any longer, and wanted to buy some boy clothes. Travis was in a hurry to get back to work, but agreed we could make a quick pit stop. It's a little weird buying boy clothes, but so exciting at the same time. We're so excited, and can't wait for Makenna to meet her little brother.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!!! I'm so excited for you! Now we will both have 1 of each :) yay! Boys are so fun! I can't wait to see the differences between a boy and a girl! Make sure to get some pee-pee tee-pee's...we didn't get them, and were constantly sprayed during diaper changes! :D
ReplyDeleteAlso, isn't it so crazy/funny how different the boy parts look from the girl parts in the ultrasound?! Your picture looks a lot like Broden's did...and then our girl's...I was like weird, that looks so weird...hahaha I don't know how an ultrasound tech could ever get that wrong! haha
