*Smarty Pants*

Just wanted to update a little bit, since I know in a couple years I will probably forget all that Makenna has been doing lately.  It's been nice having our blog printed so we can capture and document what we are doing month by month and remember it for years.

Makenna has been watching her Leap Frog dvds at least once a day, and she has come a long way in her letters and sounds.  She now knows all the sounds of the alphabet and when you show her a letter she now says what the letter is and the sound it makes.  On the video for "J" they are jumping, so when I ask her what the letter is she jumps while she says it.  It's pretty amazing how smart they are at such a young age, and how much their brain is a sponge.  She's been repeating pretty much our actions and the things we say (which isn't always good sometimes) but she's improving on a daily basis, and it's exciting to watch.

Her imagination is unbelievable!  I'll just listen to her and Jaelynn play and the things they do and say is adorable.  It just amazes me how much she's grown and how big and independent she's getting day by day.  She's such a fun asset to our family, and I can't imagine life without her.  The sense of humor she already has makes us laugh.
