*Heart Beat*

I had a doctor's appointment today, and I was super excited because today was the first time I'd be able to hear the heart beat.  I had a previous appointment during Spring Break so Travis could come, but things got mixed up a little so we had to change it for today.  He wasn't able to make it but definitely wanted to save our days for the ultrasound in April.

I had to take Makenna with me, which was quite interesting.  I was in and out within a half hour, but I was stressing over her being so quiet it felt like over an hour.  She behaved really well, she has just been talking constantly she hasn't learned to use her inside voice. She gets all excited, she pretty much has to yell so everyone can hear her.  She has to know what everything is, and tell everyone hi.

We finally got settled in and ready to hear the heart beat.  She was watching Dora on my (well mostly hers) Ipod when she heard the noise.  She popped her head up really fast and says "baby sound, baby sound"!!!  It has been so nice being able to explain things to her, and see how excited she gets.  Well, all and all the baby is doing wonderful and we have another appointment on April 26th where we'll be able to find out the sex.  I thought it was a girl for awhile, but at the doctor I accidently said "he" so now I'm not so sure.  I guess we'll find out soon enough.
