*Toddler Bed & Park*

Yesterday I decided I wanted to try Makenna in a toddler bed, so we (well Travis did it and I watched) changed her crib into a bed.  She was so excited, she would grab her pillow and blanket and kept saying "nigh nigh."  I couldn't believe how happy she was, because she usually hates going to bed.  Travis told me since it was my idea, I was the one that was lucky enough to take care of her through the night if she got up.  She got up a couple times before we headed to bed and would smile and say "Hi mom!"  I thought she was maybe a little nervous about the whole thing so I laid on her floor and she finally fell asleep.  We went to bed and we didn't hear another word from her till the morning.  Tonight she didn't get up once!!! She cried for a second and fell off to sleep.  I am so proud of her!  I wanted to get her a new bed, so we could keep the crib but I definitely wanted to try it out first.

It's been so nice having Jessi not working in the day, because it gets us out of the house.  Today was absolutely beautiful and warm!  I took Kenna outside to play in the leaves and then later that day we went with Jessi and Zayden to the park.

We walked to the park and as soon as she saw Zayden she couldn't get out of the stroller fast enough.  I was a little worried since there was a big slide, but she didn't even think twice and went down it all by herself.  There were a couple other kids there and she just couldn't get enough.  She is such a fun loving little girl, we are excited to see what kind of person she is going to turn out to be.
