Travis started the grill and made our hot dogs for us. They were yummy!
It was starting to get a little chilly, so we ate our smores and headed into the tent to watch our movie.
Kenna was really hyper and loved having both of us so close to her. She'd lay in between us and put her arms around both of our necks and play with our hair as we watched the movie. She is becoming so motherly it's wonderful to watch. Finally 10:00 hit and I knew she was starting to get tired, so we shut off most of the lights and pretended we were asleep so she would. She moved over to her side of the mattress and laid down. After a little bit I could hear her whispering, finally I shot my head up and said "who's talking, go to sleep" she giggled and pointed to Travis and mumbled something in her language. Travis pops up and goes "Kenna are you saying I'm talking?" She starts laughing and keeps pointing at him. From that point we were all laughing and it was going to be hopeless to stay here all night. We put her in her bed and within a couple minutes she was asleep. What a fun memory we'll always have, and what a special little girl we are able to raise. Maybe next year we can camp when she's a little older.
What a great idea. That looks so fun. I love how she blamed Travis....tooooo cute!
