*Thanksgiving Weekend*

We had plans to leave Wendell and head to Blackfoot Tuesday afternoon, but the weather had different plans for us.  We decided we would try it, and if the roads were bad we would turn around.  We made it as far as Burley and Travis said the visibility and roads were just getting worse and worse the further we went.  We got off the Burley exit and decided if we should even try to make it back home.  The other side of the freeway was even worse so we decided we would spend the night in Burley and try again in the morning.  It was pretty funny to me since we were only about an hour away from home, but we made the best of it.  We checked into our hotel and hit the town to see what it had to offer.  We drove around, shopped at Walmart and had Perkins for dinner.  We headed back to our hotel, got in our pajamas and just watched a movie together.  It was a must needed time to spend together as a family.

We finally made it safe to Blackfoot and was excited to see everyone.  I had a dentist appointment in the afternoon but we had fun plans we were ready to have happen.  Travis was nice enough to play in the snow with the kids and pulled Emily and Wendy in the sled.  Travis had wanted to have a Death by Chocolate night.  We had lots of chocolate and yummy treats to dip in it.  We played Clue a couple times, and it was such a blast!

Thursday for Thanksgiving we had a family lunch with some of my mom's brothers & sisters and it turned out really good.  The kids had fun playing in the gym and being with some of their cousins.  

That night we wrote down what we needed for our Blitz shopping the next morning.  We were really excited to get some Christmas shopping done.  We shopped for 8 hrs and got a lot of deals!!!  It was amazing the deals we were able to get.  We stopped at Sharis after we were done for some breakfast.  It was nice to be able to get off our feet and relax a little.  It was definitely a fun day!
