*Hard Time*

Makenna came home from school and said was having a "horrible day."  Her teacher, Mrs. Stocking, was going to be gone all week and the substitute she has was mean.  I told her she needed to follow the rules and listen to this teacher even if she didn't like her.  She just sat at the kitchen table and sobbed.  She said it was going to be a very long week!  Thursday came and she was still having a hard time.  I suggested she draw Mrs. Stocking a picture and let her know how grateful she was for her.  I told her teachers work hard and she needs to know she's missed when she's gone.  She is so excited for Monday she can hardly handle it.
