*Growing up*

I've noticed lately how much Makena is growing up. I use to have to walk her all the way to class, then slowly she let me walk her into the front doors of the school. Yesterday she told me I could drop her off and she would walk in by herself. As I watched her get out of the car it made me realize how much she is needing me less and less.  I was so proud of her, but a little heart broken.

She has been asking for awhile now if she could learn Spanish. I didn't think much of it at first but she kept bringin it up, so I bought an app on the iPad and she's been playing the game almost every day.  She has been learning new words and is loving it.
