Last night I couldn't sleep because I had a pounding headache. Travis was asleep so I decided to lay on the couch and watch TV. I don't remember when I finally drifted off but I woke up to Travis opening, shutting, opening and shutting cabinets in the kitchen. By the time I realized what was going on he was on his way into the garage. I thought he was sleep walking at first because he was in the garage then outside in the backyard. When I finally caught up to him he was back in our bedroom, with the sliding glass door open, looking outside. He kept saying "do you see all that water? Some of the pavement is dry but some is wet." I was a little confused and told him it had probably rained. I couldn't figure out why he was so worried about water outside. He kept going outside, inside and talking to himself. I wasn't sure what the heck was going on but followed him. I finally got him to talk and he said a pipe must've burst. He went into the crawl space to see what damage had been done underneath. Luckily he had caught it in time, turned off the water, and we had only minor damage. He said he woke up and had a horrible feeling. He said he felt like he should check under the house and was searching the house to find a flashlight. The sprinkler valve box was completely filled with water and he had gotten a container to get the water out. He put a few fans in the crawl space and cranked up the heat. We are hoping it will dry itself out. I am so thankful for him and how he protects us. I have no idea where I'd be without him and so grateful for all he does for us.
