*Hop 2 It*

It's funny how we try so hard to make plans so our kids can have memories, but ends up just going down hill.  This past weekend we decided to go to Lava Hot Springs to get away and celebrate Father's Day.  I took Monday off and we were excited to get out of Wendell.  We decided to take our little car because the van was in desperate need of having the brakes fixed, and just got our car out of the shop (for the 3rd or 4th time...I've lost count.)  It was supposed to have been fixed but the temperature gage kept acting like the car was overheating.  We got off at the Burley exit, ate some lunch, we hung out at Walmart for awhile, and decided to try it again.  Unfortunately it kept going to H, so we figured we didn't want to press our luck if it was actually over heating.  The kids were a little sad, but we told them we would go swimming at Thousand Island Springs.  Come to find out that it's actually closed that day so we were scrambling to find something fun to do.  We ended up going to Twin Falls and let the kids play at Hop2It.  It might not have been the weekend we planned but I think we'll be laughing at this disaster story for years to come.
