*Canyon Conference Tournament*

Saturday was the first night of the Canyon Conference Tournament. Our Wendell girls' team was the number 1 seed, so we were able to host the number 4 seed, Oakley Hornets. Our girls played them only two days before and won by 1 in overtime. The girls came out strong and controlled the the game from the get go. Every time Oakley scored or tried to mount a comeback our girls had an answer. Now the girls look forward to playing Valley at home on Wednesday in the second round winners bracket game.

Alisha, Makenna, and Peyton came out and helped cheer our girls to victory. It was a blast being able to share the win with them.
