*Disney on Ice*

Makenna's birthday is coming up, and this year I wanted to do something a little different.  Instead of throwing a huge party, I wanted to take her somewhere special.  I heard Disney on Ice was coming to Boise, and knew that was the perfect girls trip.  When I told her about it, she was so excited she couldn't handle waiting for Saturday.  We looked at some videos on youtube so she knew a little more what to expect.  We invited her best friend Peytyn to come along, and the girls were giggling all the way.

We finally made it to the Arena and took our seats.  The girls were able to pick out a toy they wanted, and they started laughing when the lights turned off.  The first performance was Princess and the Frog.   The girls weren't too fond of this one, because the bad guy was in it.  The special affects were amazing!!!  The skating and music was to die for.  It was like we were watching the movie live.  The girls were on the edge of their seats just staring.

Cinderella was next, and it was stunning.  The costumes were gorgeous, and the entire thing was so funny.  The girls awed at how beautiful she was.

Tangled was the last one, and Makenna was so excited!  This is absolutely her favorite movie ever.  This was by far my favorite as well.  There was swinging, tricks in the air, and awesome special affects.  

At the end, all the Disney Princesses came out to take make an appearance.  The girls squealed when they saw all of them.  The dancing and costumes were gorgeous!

On the way home, the girls talked about it all the way home.  They said what their favorite part was, and how "cool" it was.  They talked about how Rapunzel was flying in the air.  All and all, it was a fabulous night, and I'm so happy I was able to experience it with her.
