After work we surprised Kenna and Peyton with their V-day gifts. Kenna has really been into holidays this year, and it was super cute listening to her. She said "mom, it's valentines day and that means we have to make cookies." "Okay Kenna, why do we have to make cookies?" "Caaaaaause mom!!!" "Santa is coming, and we leave cookies out for him." We laughed pretty hard, and listened to her in awe. She couldn't figure out why we were giggling at her.
After we did our quick Valentine's Day as a family, we hurried off to Travis' game. Tonight was their championship and we had to play Gooding again. The whole game it was only a 2-3 point difference, and we were all on the edges of our seat.
The last time we played gooding, Travis ending up getting his first Technical. The next day, they announced over the intercom how he had gotten a T. All the kids made fun of him, and tonight a couple of the girls made posters saying "GO COACH!!!" All over the poster there were small "t's" and they giggled and said, "T doesn't stand for Travis, do you know what it stands for?" Then they would giggle and run off. It's been an amazing season, and fun for us to get to know the kids. A lot of the girls and boys just die over Peyton and Kenna. It's fun to go to the games to support our team.
We ended up loosing 63-57 but the boys fought to the very end. There were a couple of really bad calls from the refs but it was a definitely close and intense game.
The ring and flowers are beautiful! How sweet of Travis. I think it is so funny the kids teased him so much about his technical. They are lucky to have such a great coach!
