When morning came we were so excited to see what Santa left us. On the table, Makenna found a note from Santa thanking her for the cookies and carrots. When I read it to her, I said "Santa came!!" She shook her head, looked around and said "Santa didn't come, I don't see him." I then went on to explain that once we are asleep he comes down the chimney to leave presents for us. She laughed really hard and said "mom, that's soooo silly! Santa doesn't come down the chimney, he knocks on the door." It was pretty funny. Once she had gotten over the funny joke she thought I told her, we headed into the living room to see what Santa had left. She got a leap frog tablet that she wanted, some hair things, and a few other fun toys.
