*New Addition*

Our little boy has finally arrived.  He was born on his due date (September 14th.)  We are so excited to have him in our family, and what a joy he has brought to us.  Travis' mom was nice enough to come stay with us, and will be here a couple more weeks helping out.  Here is how the last couple of days have gone:

Sept 13th:
7:00 p.m. started having really bad contractions
9:00 p.m. contractions were close enough together so headed to hospital
10:00 p.m. dilated to a 3.  Had to be at least a 4 before they would admit me.  Had to walk for an hour.
11:00 p.m.dilated to a 3.5.  Having worse contractions, couldn't walk another hour.  They had me lay in bed for 45 min to monitor baby.
11:45 p.m. dilated to a 4.5 (officially admitted)
Sept 14th:
1:30 a.m. finally time for an epidural. He hit a blood vessel, so had to do it again.
5:00 a.m. water breaks, dilated to a 6
10:16 a.m. Peyton James Robison is born!!!  Weighing 9 lbs 7 oz and 21 inches long.
Once it was time to push, he came really really fast.  I had about four rounds and have to say it was pretty painful.  Once he was out I was so relieved, but come to find out he had hung himself on the umbilical cord.  The nurses just smiled at me when I asked how he was.  My mom said the doctor was really concerned when he saw the head.  He wasn't sure how I was going to get his shoulders through.  The doctor kept yelling at me "get mad, get mad," if I hadn't had him out when I did, we're not sure if he would've made it or not.  I am so thankful that I had such an amazing doctor and nurses that were able to act on their feet.  I can't imagine not having him, and makes me appreciate and love him that much more!  The poor little guy has a big bruise from his nose to the top of his head, and some swelling.  He is doing amazing now, and such a joy to have.
We were a little worried to have Makenna come to the hospital, because we weren't sure how she would behave.  She was so excited when she walked in the door, and was on her best behavior. She wanted to hold him, so we let her.  She just smiled at him and gave him lots of kisses.  She would smile and say "Peyton mommy."  I had her sit on the bed with me, so we could have some time together, and she put a pillow on my belly and said "baby in mommies tummy."  We all had to giggle at that.  When it was time to go home (15th) they came down again with the car.  Travis was putting Peyton in the car seat, and he started crying. Kenna yells "DAD!! Baby crying, he otay?"  On the way home he fussed a little so she sang him her abcs and read him the 3 Little Pigs.  She has been an AMAZING helper, and has loved having him home with us.  We took a ton of pictures, and I just couldn't decide which ones I wanted to leave out, so I decided I'd use all of them :).
