*Dairy Days*

Today we woke up to such beautiful weather, which was great because this morning we had a parade to start of Dairy Days.  We had a lot of people that we knew come and sit by us, and it was a blast.  Travis was nice enough to take Makenna and Jaelynn into the street when the candy was thrown.  I think secretly he had as much fun as they did.  She got tons and tons of candy, and wanted to eat each new piece.  

 After the parade was over, we headed to the park for the carnival.  They had a couple kid rides, so we decided we'd let her ride.  The first one they went on went really fast and scared her, so she was a little stand offish on the other rides.  I was able to stand by her on the merry-go-round and she kept giggling and yelling "yee haw."  We walked around and looked at all the venders.  They were giving away free milk and string cheese, so we finally found a nice cool place and took some time to talk.   

Later tonight we had a Elders Quorum barbecue.  They had money left over, and made tons and tons of steaks!  It was a nice break to let her run around with her friends and catch up with ours.
