Today we celebrated Makenna's 2nd birthday. We woke her up this morning with a balloon but she wasn't all the way awake and wasn't a fan of that. As the day progressed she got really excited as I kept saying "It's your birthday!!!!"
We wanted to separate her birthday from Christmas and have her day really special. We had lots of friends and family show up, and it turned out really good. Everyone met at our place around 1 and had some lunch. We got stuff for hoagies and it was really yummy. After we were all full we decided to open presents. Makenna was really into it this year and couldn't wait to play with each toy she opened. After the kids played with them for awhile, we had cake and ice-cream. The party went perfect and I think she really felt special on her day.
We were so sad that we couldn't make it this year. It looks like she had a wonderful birthday though! I especially love the cute Mickey Mouse cake you made for her. How fun!
