*Growing Up*

These past couple weeks have been so much fun.  Makenna is learning new words and auctions.  She's a pretty clever girl, if she gets you to laugh she keeps doing the same thing over and over again because she likes to make people smile.  She has learned a couple of new things; she puts her arms out and shrugs her shoulders and says "what."  She points to everything in the house, points and says "that" and then you have to tell her what it is.  We went to Travis' classroom and she had to know what everything in the entire room was.  I must say, it kept her busy and happy.  She says "good day" (or at least that's what it sounds like) and "Ego, ego, ego" when she sings a song.  She finds a spot to sit down and loves to look at books.  She'll even talk out loud like she's reading it.  Sometimes if she is trying to be silly she'll put her hand over her mouth and laugh; this always makes me chuckle.

We were eating dinner last night and she was cracking both of us up.  She's been putting her finger in her nose lately but if she gets us to laugh she'll wiggle her finger around.  We're both trying to just ignore when she does it, but it is so dang cute we haven't managed to stop yet!
