*Settler's Days*

This weekend has been full of fun activities.  Saturday was the Deer Park Settler's Day Parade and we were able to be apart of that.  We got up early and helped decorate the truck and we were on our way.
Travis' parents had a float for their business which isn't even a year old but is 90% full.  We all got our matching shirts on and threw candy out to the crowd.  Wow there were a ton of people and we got really excited at the beginning of the parade and didn't have any left over once we were a little more than half way.  It was a blast and the weather was perfect.  It got a little hot but the wind was blowing a little so it was nice!
Poor girl was awake through the whole parade but passed out right as it ended.  We knew it was going to be a hot day so Tena decided to have everyone over for a barbeque and to swim.  We had so much fun!!  We were in the pool for 3 hours straight but we had a lot of fun games going.  We got the floaties and we had to do different tricks.  Britany and I did a team jump where we had to surf on the long one and then jump through the whole of the circle one.  By the time the day was over we were worn out!
The men had their family football game that they do every time they get together.  Travis' team lost but they had a lot of fun and no injuries this time!  Thank goodness!!  It was a great day to be in the sun and catch up with family.
P.S. Travis has an interview Wednesday so I'll have to updated once we receive more information!! Cross those fingers!! :)
