*Road Trip*

Travis got a call Monday morning asking him if he would be willing to come down and have an interview on Wednesday.  We gladly accepted and headed down to Idaho on Tuesday and stayed at my parent's house (even though they were having a fun week at the cabin).  We went over some questions they might ask and tried to prepare him as much as possible.  Wednesday morning came and we headed to Twin Falls.  We were a couple hours ahead of schedule and since Travis had never been to Twin I showed him a little of the city.  We then headed to Hagerman for his interview.  I wasn't nervous until we drove into the city then that's when everything hit me at once.
He came out of the interview and told me all about how it went.  They told him they would call us the following day if he got it or not.  It felt like forever but they finally called yesterday.  They let him know that he was the runner up for the position.  They ended up hiring a lady that had 13 years experience and just couldn't pass up the opportunity.  They really liked him and let him know that the school just 7 miles away (Bliss) was hiring and it is in the same school district.  They were really impressed with him and decided to recommend him to the principal at that school.  Travis gave them a call and had a phone interview.  They said they were very interested but needed to talk it over so they would give him a call early next week and let them know their decision.  We are hoping and praying he gets the position because we think it would be wonderful for our family.  I hope we hear back really soon because I'm not sure I can handle much more waiting and hoping.
