*Christmas Morning*

The kids woke up this morning, about 6, and got into bed with us.  They were so tired but I said "it seems like it's not a normal day today" and they shot up screaming IT'S CHRISTMAS!  Once we all got up we headed to the kitchen to see if Santa had eaten the kids cookies, which he did, and left them a note saying thank you.  Dad walked into the living room to turn on the lights and we had the kids close their eyes as he helped them in.  The looks on their faces were priceless.  At first Makenna didn't see her tablet and went for her stocking.  Travis and I were a little shocked and said "Makenna did you see what you go?"  She held up her stocking and smiled.  Travis said "Makenna, you're forgetting something."  She looked down and screamed.  She thought it was my phone laying on the ground and didn't realize it was for her.  We finished opening presents, gave hugs and played with our new things.  After that we ate some delicious breakfast and have been enjoying our day.
