Tonight we had our annual dinner before school started. I know Makenna was having a hard time and was really nervous about not knowing anyone. I let her know that everyone is nervous and this is brand new for them too. I wanted her to feel special and get excited for first grade. I'm so proud of her and can't get over how much she has learned from last year. She is reading amazingly and just a perfect little girl.
