*Class Field Trip*

Makenna took a field trip with her kindergarten class yesterday.  They went to the Wendell Library, Wendell Fire Station, US Bank and the park.  At the library they read "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom."  At the fire station they looked inside a fire truck and the nice fireman built a little house with pretend fire in it.  The kids were able to spray the fire with the water hose.  At US Bank the nice ladies read the class a story and gave the kids prizes.  After that they headed to El Tapitillo to get ice cream.  They could pick which one they wanted and Makenna chose a Superman one with lots of colors.  Her buddy for the day was Gabi and they had lots of fun together.
