*Sick Girl*

These past couple of weeks have been all about sick, sick and more sick.  Poor girl woke up last week with her eye glued shut.  I knew instantly it was pink eye, thankfully it was on a weekend, so we took her to the doctor.  I explained to her the process, how the nurse would call her name, they would weigh her, check her eyes, and ask her some questions.  The nurse came out saying "Makenna."  Her eyes got really big and she said, "you were right mom!"  We headed to the back and she was weighed and the doctor finally came in.  He checked her eyes, and asked her some questions.  She sat there giggling and would say "mom, he did what you said he would."

Finally that was taken care of, and then she came home with a cold.  We dealt with that, and just this week she had the flu.  Travis stayed home with her for a couple days, and took care of her.  I was able to take today off, and she is starting to finally feel better.  Every time she would try and throw up, Peyton would come over to her side and cry.  He was so worried about his big sister.  She is trying to get up and play, but still isn't 100% better.

It was so much easier when I was a stay at home mom.  We didn't have to worry about Travis taking work off, because I was the one that could be with them all day.  It's been a real big adjustment to share my sick girl....but he is an amazing dad.  We are just glad she is finally getting better.
