*5 Years and Counting*

Yesterday was our anniversary, and I must say it was one of the best we've ever had.  I drove home from work, sad, thinking my husband forgot about our special day.  When I walked to the door I found the following note...and the game began.

While I was popping the balloons I kept hearing Kenna whisper "mommy come see me, hurry mommy." I was trying to pop all the balloons so I could find out where she was calling me from.  Finally the last note said "Go to Makenna's Room-Now!"  I opened the door and she was standing there with a note.  She had been waiting in there all by herself waiting for me to come in.  She was so excited and handed me the last note and kept giggling.  While I was reading it, Travis waited in the hall with some beautiful roses and a card.  I don't think I've ever had anyone do something this nice for me. It was the most fun I had all day, and felt so special.  

We had an amazing dinner Travis made, and then he hurried off to sign boys up for football camp.  Finally it was my turn to do a surprise, and even though it wasn't as cool as Travis', we made it work.  I got the kids to bed earlier, and waited for him to get home.  He didn't notice it at first, and I kept laughing until FINALLY he saw it on the table.  We had such an amazing night hanging out just the two of us, watching a movie (until I passed out about 9:30).  We definitely have our ups and downs, but we have so much fun together.  He is the one person that can truly make me laugh harder then anyone else, and is the most wonderful dad out there.  Love you sweetie!  Can't wait for many more years to come....
