Today was Kenna's first day of swimming lessons. I was sad that I wasn't able to go, but Travis is such a good stay-at-home daddy, he definitely took care of her. She was so excited when we told her we signed her up. She could barely go to sleep, and couldn't understand why she couldn't go that night. Morning finally came, and Travis said she couldn't stop talking about it. They got to the pool and she was so excited to get started. They played in the baby pool for awhile just to get use to it. Not to much longer they ended up in the big pool. The kids were all holding onto floaties playing ring-around-the-rosey. They then asked which kid would like to swim on their own (in the floaty) to the side of the pool. Kenna raised her hand, and kicked her legs all the way to the edge. She kicked her legs, laid on her back, and even put her mouth in the water to make bubbles. When I met up with them at lunch, she couldn't wait to tell me all about what a fun time she had.

I can't believe i wasn't there to see this. Thank goodness for the blog! grama R
