*Valentine's Day*

What an eventful/busy day yesterday was.  I had a Dr.'s appointment early that morning and was able to drop Kenna off at Keitra's house, which was a blessing.  He said I was still a little to early to hear the heart beat but next time for sure, which we're really excited to hear.

Makenna had gotten invited to a Valentine party and we just decided the night before I'd be able to take her (with the other two kids I watch.) After I got my prescription I ran to a close store and got some v-day cards and suckers to put inside.  I barely made it to Keitra's in time for us to head over to the church by 11.  They started out playing some games and running around in the church gym.  They sat down, colored and decorated their Valentine holder, and then caught some fishies.

It was time to deliver our v-day cards so the kids hung their homemade holders on the gym and the kids went around and put their cards in each person's holder.  It was cute to see all the kids get excited, but Kenna didn't really get it, she just handed me the card and ate the sucker. lol.
They had some yummy cupcakes (which was nice it wasn't in my house.)  They played some more games and just had a lot of fun.  It was tiring hauling all three, and their stuff in the care but we managed.  It was fun for her to be able to get out of the house and play with some kids.  She absolutely loved it!

We usually do our Valentine presents in the morning, but since it was a Monday and Kenna was still asleep we decided to wait till Travis got home so he could be there.  After the babysitting kids left, we brought up the stuff and laid it out on the couch.  She has been wanting this Weeble Wobble Tree House for awhile now, so when Travis' mom called and wanted to get her something we knew she would love this.  As soon as she saw it she screamed "WOBBLE" and I knew it was the perfect gift.  Travis had gotten me this beautiful necklace from Fred Meyer Jewelry and he got a book and some chocolates.

We had reservations at Canyon Crest and were excited to try it out. It sits on the edge of the cliff looking out into Twin Falls.  It is a beautiful restaurant.  It was very delicious and a nice new atmosphere.  We ended up taking Makenna with us, and she was very good, except for the last couple minutes.  She was full and wanted to go home, but we were still eating our meals.  She just sat on my lap and played with my phone.  We were a little nervous to take her, but she did an amazing job.

  2. I'm glad to see Travis got "Man Chocolates" if I knew where to get those I'd get them for his Dad.
