*In-Law Weekend*

We were all deciding when the perfect week/weekend was for Travis' parents to come see us.  Travis had last Thur-Friday off so we were excited to plan the perfect weekend.  We picked them up at the airport Wednesday night and were really excited to see them.  We headed over to Cheesecake Factory, which is our favorite new place.

We had fun dinners planned, trips to Boise, movies, the zoo, etc.  We were excited to be able to do all this with them, but it was also nice to relax and just hang out.  Kenna is getting in her 2 year molars so she had her days where she just couldn't handle the pain anymore.  She was a pretty good girl on most days.  

We wanted to show them around Boise a little bit more.  We headed to the Idaho Penitentiary because we thought it was really neat and interesting.  The day was perfect for being outside. It was fun to walk around and tell them the little information we knew about it from being there previously.

We made our way to the zoo and had a lot of fun there!  Makenna loved the animals, which she's never showed this much care for them.  She'd point and say "what's that?" to every animal that we passed by.  There was a little baby cat (not sure what it was) that she just adored.  It laid by the window the entire time she was sitting by it.  She'd even give it kisses through the glass.  She was also intrigued by the penguins.  The zoo is definitely a lot more fun when kids are really excited with it.  

We are really lucky to have such wonderful people that love us.  We had a blast with them, and was sad to see them leave.  We are going up there for Christmas so we're excited to be able to see the rest of the family in the next couple months.  Wish we had more opportunities to see them, but while they were here we definitely couldn't get enough of them.
