*Blackfoot Parade*

The fair has always been an excitement for Blackfoot growing up. The last couple years I have missed it, so this year was the time when I was going to go.  Travis had a bunch of work to do, so it was the perfect weekend for Makenna and I to take off for a couple of days. 

Today was the parade to start off the week of the fabulous fair.  Lacie and Emily were both in it, so I drove down Friday to make sure we were able to see it.  We brought some chairs, snacks, drinks and was ready for it to start.  Kenna would clap and wave at everyone that came by.  Everytime a new float would pass by us she'd say her famous words "what's that?" 

After the parade we headed over to mom's house for a late lunch with everyone.  Amy and her family came over and Makenna absolutely loved the twins.  They would lay on the floor, so she made sure to skoot them apart so she could fit in between them.  Jr. would cry so Kenna would rub his belly till he stopped crying.  She is going to be such a good big sister some day. 

Now all we have to do is wait for Monday to be here and we are off to the fair!!!
