Nate picked us up at the airport and we headed to Travis parent's house. We picked everyone up and headed to go camping at Kettle Falls, Washington. Kenna loved it, I let her play in the dirt the entire time we were gone. We had fabulous meals, went swimming, played games and so much more.
Unfortunately Kenna did get really sick! Monday night she was having a hard time breathing and she kept sneezing so we assumed it was allergies. The next morning when she got up she was a lot worse so Travis, Reagan and I headed into town while everyone else picked up camp, and took Kenna to the ER. The doctor said she had allergies but it had gotten so bad it had turned into Bronchitis. She kept throwing up and wouldn't eat/drink anything! They gave her a breathing treatment and a dose of steroids and that made all the difference.
We had gotten her a prescription so we could continue giving her the breathing treatments, and headed to Coeur D' Alene to go to Silver Wood. The last time we had been she wasn't old enough to ride the rides so we were really excited to let her try them out. She absolutely loved the train and would giggle every time it shook us. We camped at Silver Wood for a couple of days and just enjoyed the park.
We headed back to Deer Park and decided the last couple of days we had, we wanted to just relax. I was excited because Britany and I had planned a shopping day for her big stake dance she had coming up. We headed into Spokane and got a lot done. It was fun to just be with her and have a girl's day.
We celebrated August birthdays with a barbeque and some swim time. It was a nice ending to our perfect trip!!
Poor Kenna. I am glad she is feeling better. Looks like you guys had a blast!
