*Mother's Day*

I first off wanted to thank my mom for everything she has done for me.  I appreciate the 22 (almost) years that she has put up with me and loved me all the way through.  I think sometimes I took her for granted, but as now I've become a mom and see what a hard job it is, it makes me realize how much she does for me. I never could imagine the love she had for us until I had my own.  I can't express in words how much she means to me, and how badly I wish I could be closer to her as she is the most wonderful woman in the world! I LOVE YOU MOM!

I have to admit it has been a wonderful day.  7:00 this morning Travis woke me up and said "Alisha, I left the computer on will you please turn it off for me?"  I just remember being annoyed and thinking I just woke up why is it so important?  I dragged myself out of bed and went to the computer to find a bouquet of   absolutely beautiful red roses and a camera siting there.  I started to cry and came over to him, but before I could he asked if I had seen the computer.  I went back and he had written a sweet letter to me "His Beautiful Bride" of how much I mean to him and how he loves how much we have grown together and we are able to raise our children together.
We went to church and later that evening we were having a get together with all his brothers and sister to have dinner and just get together to talk.  What a yummy dinner the men prepared.  We had steak, red potatoes, salad, asparagus, and chocolate cake.
Then of course the "men" had to play their football game, so we watched for a little bit then came inside to talk and play with Makenna.

  2. Wow...you made me speechless (and that is hard to do). Thank you Alisha. Lots of times being a mom seems like a thankless job. But then there are so many times that it is so worth it. Thanks for making this Mother's Day one of them. I love you! Thanks for being a wonderful wife and mother!
