*Our sick little girl*

What a long week our family has had from going to the clinic everyday to finally ending up in the hospital. Makenna started getting sick Friday night with an AWFUL cold, so Travis and I decided to take her into the clinic Saturday morning. They said RSV has been going around so they would go ahead and run the test. They called me an hour later and said "her test has came back positive you will need to bring her in on Monday so we can check her again." Travis and my dad gave her a Priesthood Blessing that she would heal fast and get well, that was very comforting to know she was being watched over and protected.

Sunday came and Travis was off to Washington to a teacher/job fair (not very good timing but what can ya do.) My mom stayed home with me and we watched her very close. We noticed her breathing was a little funny, it took her whole body just to breathe. We decided to take her in to the clinic again. They said her oxygen level had dropped from 95 to 90 in one day and they let us know she was border line so to watch her very close again and come back on Tuesday.

Well as you can guess Monday came and she was awful...her neck and chest was caving in everytime she took a breath. We took her into her pediatrician and her oxygen had dropped down to 85. The nurse let me know they didn't like it below 90 and we would probably have to send her to the hospital. Well she was right, we were now headed to the hospital to have her put on oxygen and she would be given some breathing treatments.

Travis finally got home last night about 7:30 and spent the night with me in the hospital. I don't know how I would've done it with him gone without my family. They have sacrificed so much for us and I can't express how much that means to me. I probably wouldn't have needed so much help but I have such an awful cold and it has just worn me out.

We are still in the hospital today but they said she is doing better. If everything goes right today she might even be able to come home with some oxygen for a couple more days. Thank goodness for laptops, it helps make time go faster when she's asleep or resting. Here are a couple of pictures we took of her...

These next two pictures are her getting her chest X-Ray and her breathing treatment.
